Byron specialises in corporate governance and cybersecurity. He’s the current President and CEO of CIRA: The Canadian Internet Registration Authority. CIRA is best known for managing the .CA internet domain, which consists of approximately 2.9 million domains. Byron is also on the Board of Directors for TORIX (Toronto Internet Exchange) and is a member of the ARIN Nominations Committee. On top of that, Byron works closely with post-secondary institutions to better understand possible online threats, which helps CIRA continue to improve their firewall services.
