Innovation is important again. Businesses are ready to experiment and deploy new software ASAP. But there’s a problem: IT teams are standing in the way.
In this post, you’ll learn:
If you’re in IT, the message is simple: catch up now, or let innovation pass you by and become irrelevant.

The future isn’t 100% cloud. It’s not 100% on-prem either.
The reality is that some work belongs in the cloud, some belongs on-prem, and many require communication in the in-between the two realms.
The way forward is to embrace it and plan for it.
Users are ready to innovate again. They want to launch apps, test tools, and move at the speed of business.
I see it all the time and here's the analogy I always use:
"Imagine you’re trying to walk into your own office building, but the security guard says, “No, you can’t come in.”
Are you just going to stand outside of your office forever? Of course not, you'll likely fire the guard and hire someone who will let you in.
It's the same thing here. When IT blocks progress, business will find a way around IT.
Every. Single. Time.
As I wrote in my last article, the floodgates are open again for innovation. The pressure is on, IT!
Here’s what I recommend - “be open to making it happen!”
Otherwise, innovation will move on without you...
